Who Do You See?

You didn't become the person you see in the mirror today overnight. Your life journey has shaped the woman in that mirror. Every curve represents years filled with laughter and tears, victories and defeats, lessons learned and lessons taught. Whether you’ve been blessed with wrinkles full of wisdom or your cheeks still hold the blush of youth, your story has been written by the author who created the heavens and earth. You, Sister, are His masterpiece. The God that painted every sunset and every symphony of a waterfall created YOU. He sees the beauty of your heart and calls you His own. You, my Sister, are simply beautiful in your Father’s eyes.

You Are a Masterpiece

Don't ever let the world dull your shine and don’t ever lose the love for that woman in the mirror who God created. There are days, even seasons, where you may not feel your beauty. During those times you need to look for the truth found in His word. One of my favorite scriptures is "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." [Ephesians 2:10 (NLT).] If we are honest, there may be times when we don’t feel like a masterpiece. We certainly don't think we look like a masterpiece. But God's Word says that you ARE a masterpiece! Not a Picasso or a Michelangelo, you are God’s masterpiece, created in His image, a priceless princess created for a purpose!

According to Merriam-Webster's online thesaurus, synonyms of masterpiece include: showpiece, blockbuster, success, gem, jewel, prize, treasure, and piece of the master. So on those days when you need to be reminded, remember that this is how your Father sees you, not just your outer self but your inner heart and soul.

God is saying to you today,

“You. my daughter — you are beautiful. I created you in My own image and you, yes you, are my greatest masterpiece. I have a plan and purpose for your life. You are priceless in My eyes and you are indeed a piece of the Master. My precious one, just in case you need reminding of who you see in that mirror, you will find the answer woven all throughout My Word! With Love, your Father! Signed, God.”
